Best starter cheese press - ever! Best cheese press for the price! I never made hard cheese before, but this simple device made it a frustration-free experience. Highly recommend it!
Excellent buy. I used to squeeze the bitter juice out of the eggplant slices. It works nicely. Granted, i needed to apply some strength to push the juice out of the vegetable, but it does the work as expected. I used to squeeze the eggplant's slices with my hands, but with my arthritis it's too painful, and it was a slower process. I am very satisfied with EJWOX juice press.
i used this press to make cheese and there's a lot to love about it. it's reasonably priced, it's small in size, it's easy to clean, it works and the cheese tasted good (stainless steel so no reactions). i made about 10 blocks of cheese since i bought it. the support and service from the seller has also been excellent however, you need to be careful when using it. if you press with too much force, it will break the press and it can be hard to tell that this is about to happen. the directions for the press recommend using two people, one to hold the press and the other to turn the crank. i recommend that you not do this as it's too easy to press with too much force. instead, hold the press base between your knees and turn the crank slowly. i'm guessing that if you use more than 50lb force with each hand, that you will break the press if you're making cheese, be aware if milkfat gets on the threads of the screw that it will increase the mechanical advantage. this will make it easier to turn, will produce higher forces and make it more likely to break the press
