KITZINGER PURE ACTIVE YEAST - PORTWEIN / PORT WINE / PORTO
  • In packs of 5 g, sufficient for max. 50 litres
  • For wine-making to ferment juice of grapes and fruits, fruit-mash and for fruitbrandy.
  • Contents: active pure dried yeast.

Contents of the sachet are put into approx. 1/8 litre (4oz) of lukewarm water 30-35°C (86-95°F) to rehydrate for 2-3 hours. Then add the juice to be fermented. Please consider the difference in temperature between yeast mixture and juice does not exceed 2°C (3-6°F). It is best to position the fermentation tank at 15-20°C (59-68°F). Pure yeast is to be stored in a dry and cool place. Use contents of sachets all at once.

Arbeitet sehr schnell!

Ich habe jetzt meine erste Metproduktion mit dieser Hefe absolviert und bin sehr zufrieden. Es hat alles wie geplant geklappt, die Hefe wurde nicht tot geliefert und das Endprodukt ist sehr schmackhaft. Ich werde es wieder kaufen.

Immer wieder gut. Ich verwende die Hefe für meinen Honigwein. Vorher etwa 1gr in lauwarmen Wasser dehydrieren. Die Hefe geht in dem Gärballon ab wie Schmitz Katze. Nach kurzer Zeit heftige Gärung und gärt locker hoch bis 13%

Gut funktionierende Trockenhefe
Habe vor einigen Wochen einen Fruchtmet (Birne + Honig) mit dieser Trockenhefe angesetzt. Die Hefe in lauwarmem Wasser einige Minuten lang rehydrieren lassen und danach nochmal schön durchgerührt, damit sich alle Granulatkügelchen gut auflösen.
Die rehydrierte Hefe habe ich in den vorbereiteten Ansatz gegeben und bereits wenige Stunden später hat eine ordentliche Gärung begonnen, die bis jetzt gut durchzieht (Nachzuckermethode mit Honig).
Alles in Allem werde ich wohl weiterhin Trockenhefen dieses Anbieters verwenden, vielleicht mal eine andere Sort
