KITZINGER PURE ACTIVE YEAST - PORTWEIN / PORT WINE / PORTO
  • In packs of 5 g, sufficient for max. 50 litres
  • For wine-making to ferment juice of grapes and fruits, fruit-mash and for fruitbrandy.
  • Contents: active pure dried yeast.

Contents of the sachet are put into approx. 1/8 litre (4oz) of lukewarm water 30-35°C (86-95°F) to rehydrate for 2-3 hours. Then add the juice to be fermented. Please consider the difference in temperature between yeast mixture and juice does not exceed 2°C (3-6°F). It is best to position the fermentation tank at 15-20°C (59-68°F). Pure yeast is to be stored in a dry and cool place. Use contents of sachets all at once.

Gut funktionierende Trockenhefe
Habe vor einigen Wochen einen Fruchtmet (Birne + Honig) mit dieser Trockenhefe angesetzt. Die Hefe in lauwarmem Wasser einige Minuten lang rehydrieren lassen und danach nochmal schön durchgerührt, damit sich alle Granulatkügelchen gut auflösen.
Die rehydrierte Hefe habe ich in den vorbereiteten Ansatz gegeben und bereits wenige Stunden später hat eine ordentliche Gärung begonnen, die bis jetzt gut durchzieht (Nachzuckermethode mit Honig).
Alles in Allem werde ich wohl weiterhin Trockenhefen dieses Anbieters verwenden, vielleicht mal eine andere Sort

Bin sehr zufrieden damit. Hefe mit lauwarmen Wasser angesetzt und nach ca. 30 Minuten in den Fruchtsaft gegeben.
Am nächsten Tag volle Gährung im Ballon.

Apart from the amount of alcohol produced ...
my cider became really delicious!
Since the yeasts have made fast in 4 weeks 2.5 kg sugar to alcohol.
The fermentation began within 24 hours at about 25 ° C and continued for the next few weeks

Habe nach versuchen mit einer anderen Hefe diese hier probiert.
Hefe angesetzt über Nacht wachsen lassen und die beiden Met-Ansätze damit geimpft.
Nach vier Wochen noch süße aber "wirksame" Zwischenprodukte erhalten.
