A replaceable thermometer probe with length of about 18 cm is located at the end of a 1.5 m long cable, which facilitates significantly taking measurements in place like deep ovens or high containers, without worrying about getting scalded by hot food. Note! When taking measurements only the probe should be immersed in water - the cable should remain above! The thermometer features an electronic display and a timer enabling setting the time up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds, as well as setting the temperature within the range from 0 to 250°C. Another advantage of the device is the alarm that signals achievement of the temperature set or expiration of the time set. This function will be of particular use in the smoking process, signalling achievement of the temperature set in the smoking chamber.
